Re: Was wurde denn genau gesagt? Israel’s Apartheid against Palestinians

Führende Menschenrechtsorganisationen, United Nations (UN) beschreiben Israel als einen Apartheid Staat über die Palästinenser:

- Human Rights Watch, April 2021 released a 213-page report, “A Threshold Crossed,” finding that Israeli authorities are committing the crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution. https://www.hrw.org/news/2021/07/19/israeli-apartheid-threshold-crossed

- Amnesty International, February 2022, The comprehensive report, Israel’s Apartheid against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime against Humanity, sets out how massive seizures of Palestinian land and property, unlawful killings, forcible transfer, drastic movement restrictions, and the denial of nationality and citizenship to Palestinians are all components of a system which amounts to apartheid under international law. This system is maintained by violations which Amnesty International found to constitute apartheid as a crime against humanity, as defined in the Rome Statute and Apartheid Convention.

- B’Tselem – The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, January 2021
Fighting for a future based on human rights, liberty and justice is especially crucial now. There are various political paths to a just future here, between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, but all of us must first choose to say no to apartheid. https://www.btselem.org/publications/fulltext/202101_this_is_apartheid

- The UN, March 2022: Calling on the international community to accept and adopt the recent findings in his report, an independent human rights expert said on Friday that “apartheid is being practiced by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territory”. https://news.un.org/en/story/2022/03/1114702

- International figures – including former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, and former Israeli Attorney General Michael Ben-Yair – have also all described Israel’s occupation, as apartheid.

Israels Sicherheitschef bezeichnet Gaza als ein großes Konzentrationslager:
In 2003, Baruch Kimmerling, a sociologist at the Hebrew University, described Gaza as “the largest concentration camp ever to exist.” In 2004, Israel’s National Security Director Giora Eiland said that Gaza is a “huge concentration camp.” https://www.counterpunch.org/2023/11/24/from-concentration-camp-to-concentration-territory/
