Sir, that you have gathered your wits that fast and wrote such an
impressive article!
Hey, it took only two days to realize that everyone is relying on CNN.
That is remarkable and a proof of journalistic excellence.
Now, to be true, i think that your comment is completely out of place
at this time! Why? Consider this:
It is largely known that several private broadcasting stations in
Germany are owned by the Kirch-Group - and now you wonder that everyone
is using N24? Guess who is the owner of that station...
It is also largely known that since the beginning of the 90ies there
has been a concentration in the media/news sector which started when
media-moguls like Ted Turner and Rupert Murdoch began expanding their
empires from print to other medias and at the same time beginning to
buy stakes in broadcasting networks.
Everyone who is interested in the current situation of the media knows
that - and it does not take any degree of science to be aware that such
concentration leads to manipulation of the media. This has been widely
discussed in recent years/months/weeks and even days (i do not know
which newspapers you read - if any - but several german publications
were reporting on these topics in the last weeks before the "attack on
america").
I blame you for using this crisis to postulate your opinion as a very
witty clue that you draw from the events of the last days. This is an
even more unprofessional behaviour than that you accuse the public
broadcasting stations for.
If you have any moral obligations to everyone HAVING to report on this
desaster (hey, everyone WANTED to see these pictures) you should redraw
the article immediately. To accuse any news-people of unprofessional
behaviour is such a malign behaviour of yourself that i cannot believe
that you dare to go public about it...
Regards,
Sebastian
