The Intercept hat jahrelang hauptsächlich über den Intercept-Autor, Murtaza Hussain, auf das Übelste absurde CIA-Propaganda gegen Syrien betrieben (siehe auch unten moonofalabama).

Doch schwerwiegender als das ist, dass The Intercept jahrelang Informationen von Edward Snowden zurückgehalten hat, die den Syrienkrieg verhindern hätten können.
