Mit Nationalisten haben die Neoliberalen nie ein Problem gehabt - im Gegenteil haben sie seit Reagan Hand in Hand gegen jegliche Form oder Ansätze des Sozialismus oder sozialer Politik in der Welt gekämpft.
Der Beginn der neoliberalen (marktradikalen) Wirtschaftspolitik wird im allgemeinen auf die Amtsjahre des US Präsidenten Ronald Reagan datiert und genau unter dessen Präsidentschaft hat die World Anti Communist League (WACL) vertreten durch den Anti Bolshevic Block of Nations (ABN) erhebliches Gehör bei den US Senatoren und beim Präsidenten selbst erlangt.

Your hope is our hope." Afterward, he shook the president's hand and posed for photographs.

Und hier verknüpfen sich auf einmal ganz viele losen Enden der US Geopolitik.
Der hier erwähnte Yaroslav Stetsko ist niemand anderes als die ehemalige Nummer 2 in der OUN(B) - der Organisation der Ukrainischen Nationalisten/Bandera Fraktion - hinter dem auch heute noch in der Ukraine verehrten und mit Statuen als Volksheld gefeierten Stepan Bandera.
Der ABN ist nach dem 2. WK von den ukrainischen Nationalisten um Bandera und Stetsko gegründet worden und umfasste das who-is-who der osteuropäischen Nazikollaborateure.
With American government funds, the OUN formed a regional anti-communist federation, the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN), which, according to a former high ABN official, also received funding from Great Britain and "substantial-" assistance from the postwar West German government.

As chairman of the ABN Central Committee in the 1950s—a position he continues to hold—Stetsko overcame nationalistic differences and embraced fascists from all regions. Today, Byelorussian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, and Croatian Nazi collaborators, to name but a few, are all represented in the ABN. The Croatian delegation is made up of Ustashi from the Croatian Liberation Movement of Pavelic and Hefer. The Bulgarian chapter is the Bulgarian National Front Inc., the front group for the fascist Bulgarian Legionnaries of World War II. The Romanian delegation is composed of Iron Guardists.
Und genau diese Kräfte wurden von den USA quasi als Exilvertretungen ihrer jeweiligen Länder angesehen.
Der ABN fusionierte 1966 mit der Asian People's Anti Communist League (APACL) zur bereits oben erwähnten WACL, bestand aber als Unterorganisation weiter.
Yaroslav Stetsko is chairman of the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN) and a major leader of the World Anti-Communist League. He was involved with the League even before its official founding in 1966. In journeys to Taiwan in 1956, 1957, 1961, and 1964, and at many Asian People's Anti-Communist League conferences (the precursor to the World League), Stetsko pursued his long interest in Taiwan and its generalissimo, Chiang Kai-shek. Stetsko found a reflection of his own beliefs in the ferocious anti-communist stance of the Taiwanese government and in its willingness to combat communism by any means necessary. In 1958, he took part in the preparatory conference of the World Anti-Communist League in Mexico City and was one of those most responsible for its ultimate creation. In 1970; he was elected to the executive board, the Leagued elite governing body.
Die APACL wiederum wurde von Chiang Kai-shek, Park Chung Hee (beide Taiwan!), Ryoichi Sasakawa, Yoshio Kodama (beide Japan), und dem Reverend Sun Myung Moon (Südkorea) gegründet und aufgebaut.
Interessant sind auch die Aktivitäten der WACL. So setzte sie sich bereits in den 1970er Jahren für eine Zerschlagung Jugoslawiens ein. Federführend waren hier ehemalige Mitglieder der kroatischen Ustascha aus dem ABN:
After the death of Hefer in 1973, his place as head of the Croatian chapter of the League was taken by Anton Bonifacic, another former Ustasha official, living in Chicago. As president of the fallen Pavelic's Croatian Liberation Movement, Bonifacic now represents Croatia at League conferences, giving speeches and passing resolutions on the continuing struggle for the independent state of Croatia, liberally rewriting history in doing so.
Whereas . . . the Croatian Nation was subjected to the unprecedented genocide in which massacre about one million of Croatians were slaughtered by Communists or Serbs, who were opposed to the Croatian self-determination and national independence; Therefore, the 11th. conference of the WACL resolves ... to declare that the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, this artificial creation of Versailles et [sic] Yalta, should be substituted by free, independent and democratic states.
Interestingly, Taiwan, the chief sponsor of the WACL, is one of only two nations in the world to recognize the Croatian Liberation Movement as a legitimate government-in-exile.
Wie Einflussreich die WACL war, konnte man 1984 sehen. So sprang die WACL zusammen mit anderen ein, als das CIA Sponsoring für die Contras in Nicaragua zum erliegen kam.
More bad news followed quickly thereafter. In May 1984; despite fierce lobbying efforts by the Administration, Congress cut off CIA funding for the contras.* (This void would be filled through the offices of, among others, the World Anti-Communist League.)

Nach dem Tod von Yaroslav Stetsko im Jahr 1986 übernahm seine Frau Slava Stetsko das Ruder beim ABN und seine Posten bei der WACL. Sie kehrte 1991 in die Ukraine zurück und gründete dort den Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists (CUN/KUN), eine rechte politische Partei, die bei den Parlamentswahlen 2002 und 2006 Teil von Viktor Juschtschenkos Block "Unsere Ukraine" war.
Der KUN gründete 1993 die paramilitärische Organisation Tryzub, aus der der Rechte Sektor hervorging:
Trysub wurde am 14. Oktober 1993 als paramilitärischer Arm des Kongresses Ukrainischer Nationalisten gegründet[6] und beruft sich in seinen Grundsätzen auf das traditionelle ukrainische Christentum und die Ideologie des ukrainischen Nationalismus nach der Interpretation von Stepan Bandera.[7] Hauptziel der Vereinigung ist die Schaffung eines ukrainischen Nationalstaats mit einer ukrainischen, „nationalen Demokratie“.[8]
Trysub ist Kern des im November 2013 während des Euromaidan gegründeten Prawyj Sektors.[3][9][10]

Slava Stetsko starb 2003 und die Kyiv Post schreibt über ihre Beerdigung:
The funeral of Rada Deputy Yaroslava Stetsko in Kyiv on March 16 drew 10,000 mourners and a broad spectrum of the country’s most prominent politicians, including former President Leonid Kravchuk, Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn and opposition leaders Yulia Tymoshenko and Oleksandr Moroz.
Addressing the mourners, former Prime Minister Viktor Yushchenko, whose Our Ukraine bloc includes Stetsko’s Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists party, described Stetsko’s decades spent in exile and her triumphant return to an independent Ukraine, and identified the credo that ran through her entire life: “Ukraine above all.”
“Thanks to Slava Stetsko, millions of Ukrainians love Ukraine,” Yushchenko said. “She is an example of how to work toward great goals.”
But even now Stetsko, who died in Munich on March 12 at the age of 83, remains a controversial figure, partly because of her “Ukraine above all” brand of patriotism, often identified with chauvinistic nationalism.
Moreover, the appeal of this form of patriotism has been largely confined to Western Ukraine, meaning Stetsko was either relatively unknown or actively disliked in the center and east of the country.
